One morning I was listening to the radio and was struck by all of the noise and nonsense we hear. It begins to jumble into a cacophony. So I quickly wrote down some of the words and phrases that stood out and carved them into the surface of the vessel form in an effort to make something beautiful from all of the noise. I used the bible reference in the title instead of babble, to make a connection between contemporary life and the Book of Genesis story about the origin of different languages.
